Mounting the Pocket Dolly is super simple – and is NOT tripod specific. You can mount it on top of any tripod from the center. They also do sell Outrigger legs which I use all the time, these screw into the ends of the dolly with a smaller thread.

Great work! It inspires me to keep shooting with my 60d. I’m curious, I’ve been trying to get a really colorful image on my videos; do you shoot with a flat profile and add color/contrast later or do you shoot a standard profile? I have similar lenses as you but without heavy post processing the images look pretty flat.

I was looking up reviews for the Pocket Dolly when I came across your article. I was curious if you had to do anything special to get your tripod to mount to the center of the Pocket Dolly. Their website makes it seem like you can only do this with their tripod. Thanks!
