BIRTV 2011 – Ruige monitor features HD-SDI and HDMI input/output and cross convert

Ruige were demonstrating their latest HDMI monitors at BIRTV. They feature the remote magnification switch that they previously showed as a prototype at NAB 2011. The monitors also had improved full screen viewing when used with the 5DmkII in record mode.

They also showed a new 4.8inch monitor which not only had HDMI and HD-SDI input and output but also had the ability to cross convert HDMI to SDI – all built into the back of the unit.

NAB 2011 – Marshall monitors show new LCD screen range with modular input/output monitors

Marshall were showing working prototypes of their new range of monitors featuring improved resolutions and a novel interchangeable input/output module with options for HD-SDI. They all feature HDMI loop through to allow output to a second monitor or external recorder.

NAB 2011 – Small HD DP4 combined monitor and EVF

Wes Phillips of Small HD shows off the new DP4 4.3inch monitor. It has a resolution of 800×480 and can be used as a standard monitor or as an electronic viewfinder (EVF) by attaching a flip down loupe.

Marshall launch V-LCD70XP-HDMIPT loop-through monitor

LCD monitor manufacturer Marshall have just launched their latest model with a couple of great new features for DSLR shooters. The first is a HDMI loop-through function; the second is a DSLR ratio adjustment feature. Vincent Laforet has the full scoop over on his blog.
